Enrichment City LLC offers opportunities for children to expand their learning through diverse enrichment offerings. Our enrichments offer fun, hands-on, engaging lessons that tie into school-day learning initiatives and Virginia's Standards of Learning (SOL).  Enrichment City offers diversity in programs to meet the many interest and learning preferences of your students. Enrichment City can be implemented before, during, or after school, as well as during spring and summer breaks. Our individual enrichment programs typically run six weeks with up to 9 weeks with extension activities that offer career and industry relatedness and social & emotional learning embedded content. Enrichment City is a perfect fit for public schools, private schools, home-school programs, churches, parks & recreation, and a variety of other entities. In addition to offering a variety of enrichment programs, we also provide professional development, consulting, and keynote addresses for adults. Our professional developments are more than "sit and get", but interactive, hands-on, and fun training that will add skills to your toolbox. Our Staff

We are made up of K-12 classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and college students. All staff members receive a background check prior to being cleared to work with children and adults. Staff members receive training in content delivery AND behavior management. Our staff commitment is to always be polite, courteous, punctual, and dressed in appropriate Enrichment City attire.

Founder Biography

Daryle Rodgers is the Founder and CEO of Enrichment City LLC. Mr. Rodgers has twenty years of experience in youth programming. He has worked as a teacher, athletic director, coach, school district administrator and as a supervisor for park & recreation. Mr. Rodgers also is as an elected board member for Virginia Partnership of Out of School Time and a published author. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University, majoring in Education/Sports Management. He also received his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. He is currently completing the Doctor of Education in the Psychology program at Regent University. One of his research interests includes how to make extended-learning programs more purposeful.

Through his grant writing, Mr. Rodgers has been awarded over 8 million dollars. Because of his professional grant writing experiences and program implementation, he serves as a mentor for the Virginia Department of Education’s Title IV, Part B: 21st Century Community Learning Center programs where he assists in developing programs and personnel to reach their full potential. 

Serving as a guest lecturer for colleges, and conferences he often provides professional development in the areas of building innovative extended-learning programs, implicit bias in education and beyond, leadership, and helping school districts and community organization collaborate to provide quality extended-learning programs to name a few.

Beyond work, he loves being active with his wife, Jennifer. He also enjoys spending time with his four children Imani, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Jamison. In addition, he is an advocate of sports and enjoys using sports to help teach children about life skills.
